The Jackson County Sand Dunes are a 2000 acre recreation area and the only sand dune complex in the state where OHV use is allowed.  It is about 40 miles from the ranch.
    The ranch is less than a mile from Coalmont, which has a large sage grouse roosting area in the spring.     Never Summer Rodeo takes place every year in June and shows off real western charm with a rodeo, small town parade, pancake breakfast and country-western dance.
